We visited the BSUK headquarters to play in the Hit and Run invitational tournament after last year's editions were rained out.
 

After a solid win over a very inexperienced Reading side, we played two solid teams in the Turtles (visiting from the isle of Jersey) and Blitz, losing both as rain lashed down in the final round-robin game.
 

The convoluted draw for the knockout rounds  put us against the Blitz again. They had clearly warmed their bats up and comfortably headed to the Silver Final, leaving us to head home to dry off.
